Taekwondo is often recommended to people as a method of helping children and adults with short attention spans or low self-esteem. It is suitable for people of all ages, sizes and physical ability. Structured curriculum helps students set goals and experience the satisfaction of reaching them.

MR. JOE KARSTADT
6TH DEGREE BLACK BELT
Mr. Joe has been training in TaeKwonDo for over 35 yrs. His ability to connect with his students and bring out the best in them is second to none. His dynamic teaching style ensures that each student is getting the most of their training and although he is strict, he is always fair. Mr. Joe is a member of the U.S. TaeKwonDo Team and has competed successfully in 10 International Competitions and holds more than 25 National Championship Titles. He was a member of the U.S. Men's TaeKwonDo Team that won 2 Gold Medals at the 2004 ITF
World Championships in South Korea.
He is also a member of the Official TaeKwonDo Hall of Fame.

MR. JOSH KARSTADT
4TH DEGREE BLACK BELT
Being the son of Kate and Joe Karstadt, Josh has already been exposed to martial arts for over 17 years and is a member of the U.S. TaeKwonDo Team. He has competed in 11 International Tournaments, holds 14 U.S. National Titles, and is a World Cup Medalist. He has a great ability to inspire students to always want to be better and is an essential component of the JSK Teaching Staff.

Mrs. Kate is the brains and organization behind JSK TaeKwonDo. Her impeccable attention to detail is what makes JSK what it is today. From scheduling your first class, to organizing your child's next birthday party and beyond, she is the one to get it done!
